Level of greenhouse gas emissions | The Budimex Group’s impact in this area is
related to the stage of execution of a given
contract at Budimex SA and the ongoing
operating activities in the other companies of the
Group. The level of emissions also depends on
the amount of fuels burned and the volume of
electricity and heat purchased. Greenhouse gas emissions are directly related to the issue of climate change. For more information on the risks stemming from these changes, see Climate Risks Analysis. | In Budimex SA, the area is managed as a result
of the implementation of the CSR Strategy
2021–2023 objective. The reduction of emissions
is influenced, for example, by the purchase of
energy from renewable sources, investments in
renewable energy sources and the introduction
of emission-free mobility solutions. The level of emissions in the other companies of the Budimex Group is managed by optimising the consumption of fuels and energy for current works, and investments in electromobility. Level of water consumption | Water is abstracted for domestic purposes of the
Company’s employees and service suppliers and
is consumed as raw material in production and
technological processes. The demand and actual consumption of water resources depend to a large extent on the nature and stage of the implementation of contracts on which construction works are carried out in the balance sheet period. | Reduction is achieved through rational water
consumption and as a result of rainwater
recovery. Monitoring of water consumption on
