In the geographical context, the sales structure has been stable for the last few years.
The main Budimex Group’s operation markets are Poland and Germany, and the dominating share of revenues (96.4%) was achieved on the Polish market. 3.2% of revenues was recorded on the German market and 0.4% on other markets.
PLN 100 million expected capital expenditure of the Budimex Group in 2018.
In 2017, the business conducted on the German market included mostly workshop works. The sales revenue in Germany amounted to PLN 199,233 thousand. An increase was recorded in prefabrication works (4.4%) and in metal works (16.1%). As far as the domestic market is concerned, the Budimex Group will be active in its all ongoing activity sectors. Infrastructural investment projects co-funded from the European Union budget (in particular road and railway projects) are Budimex Group’s opportunity to acquire new contracts. After difficult 2016, when we observed significant slowdown in the conclusions of new road-related tenders, the largest infrastructure investors in 2017 considerably increased the number of concluded tenders. In 2018, the investment process will be continued, which should result in new road and railway contracts.
The Group also plans to consistently reinforce its position in the commercial building sector and acquire new contracts in the power engineering and hydrotechnical segment. Other plans also include development on the municipal service market and initiating various Public Private Partnership projects. In 2017, Budimex Group’s companies signed construction contracts of the total value of PLN 7,285,454 thousand (including Annexes).
As of 31 December 2017, the value of the Budimex Group’s construction order portfolio was PLN 10,300,213 thousand, i.e. increase by 15% in comparison with the end of 2016.

In 2018, the Budimex Group plans capital expenditures on the level of approximately PLN 100 million, 39 million of which is related to the Budimex SA company, and approx. 53 million to Budimex Kolejnictwo. The main expenditure concern purchasing construction and rail equipment, as well as IT projects.
