„Agreement for Safety in Construction”

Budimex represents the “Agreement for Safety in Construction” initiative, which promotes appropriate attitudes in terms of OHS in construction industry. It is a place, where competing companies cooperate every day in order to develop the best solutions regarding OHS, e.g. consistent document models, validation model for professional qualification of seasonal workers. One of the key projects of the Agreement is free training for workers of small and medium-sized companies, implemented in cooperation with the Social Insurance Institution. In 2017, a total of training participants reached 3200 persons from 16 sites across Poland. Another joint initiative of the Agreement signatories is the Safety Week, its fourth edition lasted from 8 to 14 May 2017. The motto of the last year’s initiative was “Safety – Pass it on!” During these several days, the employees of companies united by the Agreement took part in hundreds of training sessions and exhibitions of e.g. safety equipment, exercises with the participation of Firefighters, Police and meetings with representatives of the National Labour Inspectorate.
