Construction companies always work close to people, and urban and infrastructural transformations happen next to us, even if sometimes unnoticed. What is more, the construction industry develops along with social changes and the emerging of new technologies. In Budimex, we have identified three major trends which are also challenges that have an impact on the quality of our lives and the functioning of construction sector:
– urban congestion, street traffic and air pollution in the largest cities makes it necessary for urban projects and new investments to optimally blend in the existing urban tissue and focus on the residents;
– development of new technologies is of utmost importance and constitutes an opportunity for the construction sector to make the implemented projects effectively planned, performed with minimum negative social and environmental impact;
– we are a mobile society, increasingly more eager to move not only within our town or city, but also between cities and abroad. Therefore, it is important to constantly develop road, railway and aviation investments, using innovative solutions and technologies, such as automation or even robotisation.
Budimex has carried out building contracts in Poland and in the world for 50 years, that is, since 1968. It combines tradition and innovation, Polish technical thought of engineers working on numerous projects, but also derives from international experience and know-how of the Ferrovial Group.
