As mentioned above, the Integrated Management System comprising quality management system according to PN-EN ISO 90001, environmental management system according to PN-EN ISO 14001, OHS management system according to PN-N-18001, and quality assurance system based on the requirements of AQAP 2110 NATO standard, has been implemented in Budimex.[1]
Budimex has had procedures for having quality control on construction sites and managing the quality of mineral and asphalt mixes, concrete mixes and aggregates in place. They are applicable to all the stages of acquiring and using a given raw material, at different stages of a construction process: from the criteria and methods of acquiring materials to the guidelines as to what actions need to be taken in the case of departure from a standard.
The safety of constructions depends on the quality of materials used, but also on the accuracy of completing individual stages of their construction, no matter whether it is an express or a public building. The general contractor’s liability begins at the designing stage, through erecting and then maintaining facilities.
[1] Thus uniform procedures are generally applicable to all (100%) ongoing contracts.
The certificates awarded and the next accreditation being under way are the results of efforts of the many people involved in ensuring the highest quality of constructions. Uniform quality standards apply to Budimex’s all ongoing contracts. In 2017, we did not record incidents which could have resulted in health and life hazards or structural collapses. In 2017, no fine was imposed on Budimex S.A. for non-compliance with the law and regulations concerning the provision and use of products and services. Neither were there cases of non-compliances with all the regulations concerning labelling information about products and services.
